Delivery policy
How and when your order reaches you, and what happens if something goes wrong.
We deliver anywhere in South Africa
From our own kitchen in Potchefstroom, to every province. If it turns out we cannot reach your address, we refund you in full. No argument, no restocking fee.
How your delivery works
1. We confirm your date when your order is dispatched. Your meals are cooked, portioned and packed to order, so we confirm the delivery date once your box is actually packed and on its way, not when you check out. You get that confirmation by WhatsApp and email.
2. On the day, you get a time window. Not "sometime Tuesday". An actual window, sent to you by WhatsApp and email, and it never opens before the van has left. If the driver runs early or late, the window updates.
3. You can follow it. Every order carries tracking. For courier deliveries that is an Aramex tracking number. For our own delivery runs in Potchefstroom, Gauteng and the Western Cape, it is a live tracking link showing where your driver is.
Delivery cost
The delivery cost for your address is shown to you at checkout, before you pay. It depends on where you are and how large your order is. Some packages include delivery, and where they do, the product page says so.
Collection from our Potchefstroom kitchen is free.
Frozen, and staying that way
Your meals leave us frozen and travel in insulated packaging with ice packs. Depending on the distance, some meals can arrive part-thawed, which is normal and safe. Please get your box into a freezer as soon as it arrives.
If we miss you
You will have had both a dispatch notification and a delivery window before the driver arrives, so please keep the phone number you gave us at checkout switched on and reachable on the day. If we cannot reach you and the delivery fails, we will arrange the next available slot with you, and a second failed attempt on the same order may carry a redelivery cost.
If something goes wrong in transit
If your order is lost, delayed or damaged after it leaves us, that is ours to fix. You are entitled to a replacement box or a full refund, whichever you prefer. Contact us on 072 522 7099 or [email protected] and we will take it up with the courier ourselves. You should not have to.
Your rights
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002.
Our returns and refunds are set out in our Refund Policy. Our company and contact details are at Contact information.
